Follow the Leader
Started in 2009, after returning from a one year contract in South Korea with our two rescued Korean street dogs, Parker and Leevi. We re-established Jenn's prior dog walking business to include training and boarding. Follow The Leader is now an established dog care company in Halifax, Nova Scotia, that offers a variety of complementary services. We believe dogs require calm, upbeat and mindful leadership, that includes rules and boundaries, games and play! Dog care is our passion in life and it would be a delight to care for your pet as much as we care for ours.

Jennifer Cordin
With over 23 years experience in the dog walking industry, 17 years as a certified dog trainer, and a psychology degree, Jenn has an established reputation and an expansive list of happy clients. She is known for her innate ability to lead and motivate large groups of dogs and teach others how to as well!

Cecily Cordin
Cecily was Jenn's wife and business partner for over 15 years, so she had plenty of exposure to dogs and had become an excellent dog handler because of it. She came a long way with dogs from when she first met Jenn. And she was eternally grateful for the job she inherited when she Married Jenn. She had History, International Development and Education degrees, and she chose to be a dog walker. Cecily brought a calm, thoughtful, and organized element to Follow The Leader. She was diagnosed with Melanoma stage 4 at the end of 2020 and died in May of 2021. She left Jenn to run the business and raise their young daughter, Jess, which would of broken her heart to know, but she left us after teaching us how to be strong, kind and noble warriors in the world. We are ok. We, being Jess and I, are not ready to take new clients but we do remain dedicated to the life long client relationships we have.
